2014 brought about much change, as I moved away from Liberty - TopicsExpress

2014 brought about much change, as I moved away from Liberty University, and everyone I knew, to complete my final internship as an undergraduate student. Moving to Charlotte in January 2014 entailed many moments of excitement, challenge, growth, hurt, joy, and Jesus. The Lord expanded my perspective, vision, heart for Himself, my role as a coach, and my desire to use athletics to pursue intentional relationships and love others well. The year also brought many challenges, as I faced anxiety and uncertainty over where the Lord would lead me upon completing my internship. In the midst of my anxiety, God led me to CityChurch (my Church home), and surrounded me with a beautiful community of believers. He has allowed me to grow as a worship leader, a friend, a sister, a mentor, and a lover of Jesus. Entering into 2014, I had no idea where I would be at its close. To call Charlotte home for this season has been an incredible blessing. Gaining an eternal family has only added to Gods favor over my life. As I look into 2015, I am confident that the Lord has beautiful plans to unfold before me, as I continue to be faithful to Him in this season. The opportunities that have been placed before me, to continue to pursue sport ministry and intentional relationships, are evidence of a good God, Whom I humbly serve. He is leading me in new directions, which I am both excited and scared to embrace. Yet, knowing that the Father has gone before me, preparing His steps for me, allows me to follow Him peacefully and faithfully. Jesus, I want to make Your name known even greater. I will love You more passionately. I will serve others deeply. I will embrace Your Will for me with JOY. You are good. Thank You for calling me to serve You.
