2014 taught me a lot about myself and life.. some of my accomplishments: Volunteered at various non profit organizations Attended several casting calls, auditions and worked with amazingly talented photographers; expanded my modeling portfolio Co-starred in a music video Started my own business Became a member at my first home church (NVFC) Drove to Chicago 5 times this year Traveled by myself to Washington D.C. I was awarded the honor of holding the title of Miss Black Minnesota USA 2014 and competed on a National level Got to be apart of Rondo Days, the 1st annual Frank Adams 5k run/walk in honor of my father and got to be in the parade as Miss Black MN Accepted the Executive Director position for the Twin Cities Gus Macker Social Event Networked with sooo many new people from all around the country! Enrolled my daughter in her first dance class Being the positive role model my daughter deserves and for all the young girls/women in the world Had the courage/strength to let go & let God Created a vision to be bigger than I kno myself to be, and living into that future everyday I can confidently say Im going into 2015 with a new mindset and excited for all the new opportunities this year will bring ! #2015
