2014 will decide who is the BIGGEST STAR (Khan) of Bollywood!! The reason i said so, is plain simple. After many years, all the 3 Khans are releasing their films on their peak period.. Salman on Eid (Kick), SRK on Diwali (Happy New Year) and Aamir on Christmas (P.K). Not only that, all these 3 biggies are pure commercial films. While Kick is a typical Salman Action Masala, Happy New Year is a SRK- Farah combo film with Deepika, a bankable Star to add to it, Many might argue that P.K is a not-so Commercial Film, but we should be rest assured , Raju Hirani and Aamir releasing a movie on Christmas will be a biggie and it will have all scope to challenge the other two Khan Movies. If we look at the last 6 years Top Grossers, we can see Aamir has 3 while Salman also has 3 to his name. Aamir had 2 Biggest Grossers in 2008 n 2009 with Ghajini n 3 Idiots, both on Christmas...But the fact is SRK had not had release on 2009 and in 2008 too, RNBDJ was NOT a Holiday release.. Now coming to Salmans Biggest Grossers..All his 3 biggest Grossers came on Eid , from 2010 to 2012... It must be noted that in these 3 years, Aamir didnt had an out n out commercial film, Dhobi Ghat and an offbeat Talaash being the 2 releases. SRK had 1 release on 2010 with MNIK which was again a multiplex film, while in 2011 n 2012 he was clear second. Again in 2013, Aamir had the biggest grosser, but again Salman again didnt had a release. So, the bottom line is that 2014 provides all these 3 KHANS an equal level playing field to show their stardom and capture the top spot... Bollywood Fans, Sit Back and Enjoy!!
