Daniel 1:1-7 Some people fall into a trap like the case of Sampson. Judges 16:4-21 Some are sold into slavery like joseph -Genesis 37:23-28 Some people are born into slavery. - Exodus 1:8-12 Glory be to God Captivity can be turned. CATEGORY OF CAPTIVITY 1) PHYSICAL BONDAGE: When a man is born lame, his in bondage because he cant move. Acts 3:1-8 When there is Physical bondage: - Progress will be hindered. They become burden to someone - Hes not really sick but hes not well. - Luke 13:11-17 2) MATERIAL BONDAGE: Exodus 1:8-11- The fellow will be working like elephant but eating like an ant 3) MENTAL BONDAGE: Doing what is not correct, he wont even know. Daniel 4:28-33 4) MARITAL BONDAGE: Mark 5:1-15 - When you find some cases of barrenness 5) SPIRITUAL BONDAGE: Mark 5:18-20 He was destined to be an evangelist. The fellow destiny is truncated 7 SIGNS OF BONDAGE 1) His incomplete project. When you see someone always starting a project but never complete it. John 5:2-9 2) He will go forward then backward : One step forward and one step backward 3) John 16:18-21.- Going round in cycles; ever moving but not getting any where 4) Mark 10:46-52: When you have unfulfilled dreams and aspirations Prayer: When your captivity is turned today those dreams will begin to come to existence 5) Mark 5:1-5 : Self inflicted wounds. The wages of sin is death. Some people are the enemies of them selves 6) 7) They will recognise that only Jesus can heal 8) Deep sorrow ONCE CAPTIVITY IS TURNED: 1 ) When bondage is destroyed progress begins. Exodus 12:30-33 Prayer: Whoever has been holding you captives will beg you to live 2) There will be promotion. Exodus 12:32 Prayer: Your promotions will be accelerated 3) suddenly there will be restoration of blessings ex 12:35-36 Prayer: Every miracle you have ever missed will be restored to you 4) All of a sudden mockers becomes silence - Mark 5:15 Prayer: By the time God finishes with you even your neighbours will become afraid 5) Mark 5:18-20- Destiny will be restored. Prayer: In the name of the great shepherd himself if you have lost contact with your destiny there will be restoration tonight in the name of Jesus. 6) Joy will begin to spring up in the life of the person. Psalm126:1-2 Prayer: From this moment every where you go, the joy of the Lord will continue to spring forth in you 7) The praise of God will begin to flow through . -Acts 3:2-8 7 REASONS WHY AM CONVINCED THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE TOTALLY FREE TONIGHT 1) Our Shepard is the unchangeable God.- Malachi 3:6 hebrew 13:8, 2) Because His unchangeable what He has done before He will do it again- Psalm 136:1 Prayer: Whatever forces have been holding you captive will let you go 3) Luke 11:21-22 , Psalm 24:10: Whatever has being holding you captive is not as strong as our great shepherd 4) The one who is our great shepherd has a name which is above every other names. Philippines 2:9-11, job 1, Prayer: His going to come in and overpower whatever is holding you captives 5) We have His blood. - Rev 12:11 - There is enough power in the blood of Jesus Prayer : That blood is going to conquer for you 6) We have the written word of God . Forever your word is settle. Isaiah 49:24-26 Prayer: Those who went into captivity out of ignorance, by our parent, you walk into it yourself, tonight you shall be free tonight 7) We know the Lord Jesus Christ. John 8:32, John 14:6, John 8:36 8) James 4:7 submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you 9) Must be ready to come under a new management. Matt 11:28-30 10) Cry unto the Lord of host to come to our rescue and am sure He will come tonight.
