2015: IS UDOM GABRIEL EMMANUEL A CURSED VICTIM? Yesterday, one of those stranded women along Nsikak Eduok road, near ACA office provoked, ‘In this life, it will never be good for Udom Emmanuel and his entire family. He has disgraced me, and has made me a caricature before the eyes of any right thinking person, My God will also disgrace him whenever he wants favour from heavens. How can I leave my farmyard and the confines of my home just to be treated like a toddler? This tears I am shedding will speak against him at the appointed time.’ I felt remorse as soon as I observed that, the woman in question is at least older than the President of Akwa Ibom Consolidation Alliance, Pastor Andrew Uwanta, and I guess she should be equivalent to the age of Udom Emmanuel biological mother, if she is still alive. Why should the leadership of ACA incur such curses upon themselves and their families? Little wonder why Hon. Mike Sebastian opted out from such organization, because ETINOSA’s are men and women of proven integrity. In the legal angle, it is a clear breach of contract, thus, it is a criminal offense punishable under section 419 of Criminal code (Here ACA collected their intellectual properties under false pretense) but could government punish itself? So many things came to my mind; I also could recall how a governorship aspirant likened ACA to Akwa Ibom Criminal Assembly, could it be a platform for Criminal activities? But why should Etinan man, Andrew Uwanta head such organization? Could it be because Etinan is the ‘brain basket’ of Akwa Ibom State? At a point, I wondered why a politician who want to be the next governor of the state is not in tandem with Ephesian Chapter six which states, ‘Children obey your parents in the lord, honour thy father and thy mother… ’. Sometimes, we tend to think we are wise and correct, yet we are incurring the heavy wrath of God upon ourselves and our family. I know Brotherhood of the Cross and Star of which Andrew Uwanta is a Pastor read bible, Qua Iboe Church, where Udom is a deacon also read bible, but why can’t they read this Ephesian 6? If Andrew Uwanta led group is conscience driven, I guess they should have paid their super imposed supporters, rather than making them to wander like children of Israel in the Wilderness. It is rumoured that Udom Gabriel Emmanuel is right and correct. From this yesterday’s occurrence, it behooves on his followers and sycophants to empirically study him again. How could a correct man used-and-dump his mother’s age mate after a ‘successful’ political jamboree which was aired live on television stations? I pity Udom because he may not have known what he has obtained from the lips of stranded victims yesterday. I can’t call ACA a fool assembly, but our popular adage says, ‘A foul at forty is a fool forever’ if the leadership of ACA and their surreal governor in waiting are more than forty years and have done such barbaric act to people, who do you think they are? But on the other hand, why should people who claim to love Udom be collecting money for each outing? Does that indicate any love, trust and support? Methink, rather than making unwanted noise, Udom should inwardly assess himself and his supporters. This sign is more a bad signal and omen. I will rather be a consistence and focused follower than dabbling into Pay-before and pay-after service politics. It was yesterday that I noticed that, indeed Udom does not have a follower. Why didn’t the money machines in Udom’s camp settle the bills amicably if they were loyal and committed members of the team? Yes, I am sure the eggheads in that organization are financially buoyant to settle the cash, but none ventured into such rescue, because they perceived udom’s project as that of Udoma Bob Ekarika in 2007. It is sad! In 2011, people paid for their various uniforms, boarded ‘911’ vehicles to campaign grounds without collecting a dime just to drum support for Senator Udo Edehe, but it appears that here in Udom’s camp, supporters venture into cash spillage. If the words of that aged woman are accepted in heaven, then Udom will need a David-like repentance to cleanse his generation from such barbaric curse. If he refuses, then I foresee Ichabod. Udom should re-examine himself, rather than failing the forthcoming primaries with ancestral curse bestowed on him, he should be bold to tell his supporters why he maltreated them and took their intellectual properties for granted.
