2015,NOW THAT THE HYPE IS OVER- lets all go back to the change factor,okowa! The polity in Delta state can be said to have found its level now that it is clearer where various allegiance lies in our pursuit of 2015 and the electorates now knows who is supporting who and who their godfathers are and why! The ever vigilant electorates in Delta state should by now be able to logically extrapolate what to expect from each aspirant in the 2015 race,judging from their antecedents before us in service to the people and state either as elected,appointed or carrier servants! In the past,the bane of our choices of who manages our common wealth as governor,has been attributed to an incumbent feeling he/she knows best and as such,hand picks a successor without any consideration of the peoples needs which is selfishly rank very low in their scale of preference. This is wrong and should not be allowed ever again as weve seen the end result in productivity as it affects the generality of Deltans! As always,one is quick to scrutinise political office holders when they aspire,but may we recall that His Excellency Rochas Okorochas was well known as a philanthropist before he took office,so many could judge him as a man for the Imolites even before he was sworn in as governor! Politician,Civil Servant or what have you,let Deltans put all aspirants before the slaughter of scrutiny as we ask: 1. WHO DO WE WANT? 2. WHY DO WE WANT HIM? 3. OF WHAT POLITICAL EXTRACT IS HE/SHE COMING FROM? 4. IS HE/SHE A KNOWN STOOGE,SENT TO COVER SOMEONES TRACK? 5. IS HE/SHE A DRAIN PIPE TO CONTINUE THE LOOTING SPREY? 6. WHAT IS THEIR POLITICAL RECORD OF SERVICE? 7. WHAT DEGREE OF IMPACT HAVE THEY ON THE LIVES OF OUR PEOPLE TO DATE? Deltans,the ball is in our court to a large extent as regards who becomes governor 2015,lets not be blindfolded into a slaughter house when we are no cows! Take note,any mistake we allow to happen now will stay with us for 4yes or worst still,8yrs. GOD FORBID! Shin ya Eye!
