2015 Touch World Cup Memo: 5 February 2014 We would like to thank everybody that completed the Expression of Interest (EOI) form for the 2015 Federation of International Touch (FIT) World Cup (2015 TWC). The information we have received will greatly assist in the planning and preparation for the event. In the first instance, we can advise Member Nations of current interest levels for 2015 TWC divisions. We did receive a large response with 125 teams from 28 Member Nations expressing interest for the event. Team numbers may decrease as many Member Nations have indicated that they are not certain to attend all the divisions they have nominated for. Conversely, we have not been able to contact all Member Nations with some anticipated to attend. At this point in time, it is likely that the 2015 TWC will be one of the largest Touch World Cups on record; to which we are very much also looking forward to making it one of the most successful. Indicative Team Nominations Thank you to all Member Nations that advised what teams they are indicatively sending to the 2015 TWC; please find below a summary of intentions. Please also be advised that they are not official nominations and Member Nations will not be penalised if they nominate indicatively but not for the actual event. If there are any errors or omissions, please let me know. Any changes may be identified in future correspondence. Other Expression of Interest Items We have collated information on Member Nations interest levels on other EOI items such as Medical (use of Australian-based Medical Staff and/or utilise combined recovery area) and Meals (interest in packed lunches for competition days in Sydney and/or Coffs Harbour). We will look at getting prices based on the details received and will distribute this information to Member Nations in regular intervals in the lead-up to the 2015 TWC. We have already communicated individually to Member Nations that have enquired about sourcing accommodation in Coffs Harbour. Coaching Enquires We would like to highlight that in the first instance all coaching enquiries should be directed through the FIT Coaching Panel, in particular the Coaching Commission chair, Mr. Peter McNeven.
