2015 Volkswagen Jetta: When the current Jetta bowed nearly four years ago, Volkswagen loyalists moaned and howled over its decontented nature—a ploy on VW of America’s part to take a more serious bite out of C-segment sedan sales. Since then, Volkswagen’s rolled out a series of upgrades to the line, dumped the aged 2.5-liter five-cylinder for a more modern 1.8-liter turbo four, and launched the Jetta Hybrid. For 2015, to coincide with the U.S. launch of the MkVII Golf, the Jetta sees a full-on refresh, set to debut at this week’s New York auto show.
