2015 is here & 2014 is gone. I could dwell now on the bad that took place such as losing my job and my extremely embarrassing interview for a job with a major search engine, or I can look forward to a new year with the woman God gave me and the children He has provided us. I choose the latter. I am blessed beyond measure to be married to Kim. We may have our moments, but they soon pass. She has been an absolute rock for me and I can only hope to be 1/2 as strong and faithful in our Lord as she. My resolution to you my dear is peace. Peace that can only come from our Father. Peace in all aspects of our marriage and family life. I love you! Nicholas has grown and matured into such an amazing young man. His love for his family and willingness to help his mother and I is immeasurable. There is no number large enough to label how proud I am to be his father. Son, my resolution to you is patience. Patience that I have learned from God through you. Sure, you are my child, but watching your kindness and compassion with your siblings and friends can prove to be a lesson even this old man can learn. I love you buddy! At 10, Donovan can be a handful, but God has placed with us a young man whose imagination knows no bounds. His infectious laughter and smile can melt my heart at its hardest. My resolution to you Donovan is willingness. Willingness to listen, engage, take part, and take part in the things you find important. God has given you such a beautiful mind and I will not ignore what you do with it. My love for you is as endless as your imagination. Katelynn (#K8lynn) it is so true that a father is transformed when he first holds his new born daughter. You have changed my heart in a way that I never thought possible and you are only 2! I cannot imagine what this year will bring is from you. I only know that God has placed in my family one of the most beautiful of His creations and my resolution is to cherish you and grow with you. I am ready to uphold these resolutions to you my family. I am ready because I know that you are not my family by accident. You are all gifts from God and are to be taken care with for as long as I am privileged to have you. We have been given a new year to start fresh and I cannot wait to see where we go from here!
