If at all possible, someone from R.U.F.F. will try to help. I cant bear the thought of any of Gods creatures suffering. I just talked to 2 employees with the City of Jasper street dept about a dog they picked up who was hit and in horrible shape. We took her to our vet to see if she could be saved. Her back was broken and her diaphragm basically destroyed, along with many other injuries...and this didnt just happen this morning. This sweet girl never made a sound while being examined. Probably the most love she had ever received bc it was apparent she had missed many meals. The decision was made to end her suffering and she was sent to Rainbow Bridge with 3 pairs of hands gently touching her, telling her what a good girl she was. My heart was absolutely broken for her. No animal leaves us without a name, and this precious girl was named Saylor, after the woman who first helped her. Thank you, Martin Roberts for helping our girl pass peacefully. I owe ya one.
