22. Those are they whose works have failed in this world and in the Hereafter; and there shall be none, to help them. (What could be more natural and just, for those who fail to believe, and prevent the propagation of truth and justice, that they should turn out at the end to be losers? Despite all their efforts they are unable to prevent the spread of the religion of truth and mercy. Despite the efforts of persecutors and tyrants, this just religion will gain victory over the others by the grace of God. The deeds of wrongdoers will be vain because their capital, namely, their life in this world, will have been wasted. And those who refuse to store up good works in the world cannot expect to receive anything at the Judgment.)
