22 players today, Thursday is the Derby Horse Race at Valle I spent most of the day at CIMA visiting my son. He should be discharged within the next few days but will then spend a month in a handicap room at the Quality Hotel in Santa Ana (because of his fracture hip be cannot stay with me- I have a second story apartment). Thanks to CIMA for the great care and thanks to the Quality Hotel for their assistance. Here are today’s results. Today the CVGA played a two-person scramble at Valle Del Sol and we had twenty-two (22) players. Each player was required to contribute three drives per side and 30% of the team handicap was used as a reduction. Today’s A flight had combined handicaps of 43 or less. Today’s results (gross, net, and points towards player of the month and player of the year 2014) are: A flight 1st-Fabrizio Poletti and Jerry Bashrum (69, -9.6, 6 points each) 2nd- James Renfro and Reinhard Sievert (70, -8.6, 4 points each) 3rd- Steve Devore and Steve Bonzer (72, -8.1, 3 points each) B flight 1st- Tom Minter and Ed Jadeski (74, -12.4, 6 points each) 2nd- Marc Chevalier and Bill Jones (78, -8.1, 4 points each) 3rd- Brent Binder and Tom Briggs (78, -7.8, 3 points each) First and second place in each flight will be paid. Steve Bonzer won a lunch voucher for closest to the pin on #5. David
