22 years ago today, a miracle happened; weighing in at 5 pounds 5 ounces with the bluest eyes of Texas. She was a month early and was shipped off to another hospital an hour away. I remember looking up at that doctor and asking if my baby was going to die. When I got to that hospital and saw her I thought Dear God, I would trade my life for her own if you will just let her be ok. Funny how when they grow up, you still would tell God the same thing. There is nothing I would not do for her. I treasure every fight I have with her, every laugh, every memory, good or bad, because I am blessed to have her. I love you, Stacey Bug, Happy Birthday!!!!
