22 years certainly did seem to fly by, but now lil bug, Jordan Nicole Lane is about to graduate from college and celebrate her 22nd birthday. Im man enough and dad enough to say Im almost totally at a loss of words to describe how proud I am...of your growth and maturity. As I look back, Im not seeing many (haha) situations that daddy had to worry about. Of course, there were a few things that didnt get brought to my attention (right away; gee, I wonder why?). And for that, I want to thank Barbara Lane for stepping in and being a mom...in addition to your bio-mom Amy Kaminski and other dad, Jud Kaminski. Naturally, your grammas, aunts, cousins, and cray cray friends were by your side, too. Thank you; thank all of you. Some other tidbits: You didnt really wanna play soccer like daddy did; I was cool with that and supported your other sports and interests. You didnt wanna join the circus like daddy did; I was cool with that, but it woulda been sweet to take selfie videos of us balancing wheel barrows or ladders on our chins or juggling knives back & forth between each other...or riding a unicycle. Theres still time though!!!! But hey, your path is your path and youll find the best and most appropriate grooves in the road...for you. Enjoy the moments even if theyre bumpy at times. Oddly enough, with me in your family tree, you turned out to be a wonderful, young person and a dynamic young woman. I love you bug and wish you the best success as you move forward onto the next road.
