24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00PM 30 June 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 pm today, the center of Tropical Storm “GORIO” [RUMBIA] was estimated based on all available data at 230 km West of Dagupan City (15.8°N, 118.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 26 kph. FORECAST: Zambales and Pangasinan will experience rains with gusty winds and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough. MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southeast will prevail over the rest of northern and Central Luzon and coming from southwest to south over Southern Luzon and Visayas. The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest with slight to moderate seas.
