24-Hour Public Weather Forecast Issued at : 5:00 PM 6 April 2014 Synopsis: At 4:00 pm today, Tropical Storm “DOMENG” was estimated based on all available data at 1,020 km east of General Santos City (6.5°n 135.1°e) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 20 kph.Meanwhile, Tail-end of a cold-front affecting extreme northern Luzon. Forecast: Mindanao and the regions of Cagayan Valley, Eastern and Central Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over northern and eastern section of the country and the coastal waters along this area will be moderate to rough.
