25 years ago today, Back To The Future Part II screamed into movie theaters across the U.S.. The much anticipated second chapter in the trilogy has Marty McFly & Doc Brown time traveling to the year 2015, to save Martys kids from certain judicial doom. But, upon returning to their own time (October 1985) the boys find out that their own timeline has been devastatingly tampered with & that they have to find out who, where, &, most certainly, when their timeline became eskewed in order to fix it. Because if they dont, they both become history. Although, a huge hit at the box office (we had sell out shows in its opening weekend at the Auburn Mall Twin Cinema), BTTF Part II received lukewarm reviews w/ critics. Its a thinking mans sequel, that commands your attention. Although, it lacks the emotional depth of the original film, Back To The Future Part II is a brainy follow up to a timeless original.
