25 years ago today I started singing, both as a solo act and as part of a double act. We met in a bar ... me totally sober and him as drunk as a skunk .... hehehehe ... he slurred out the question: Do you need a support act for your gig? ... and I looked at him like: Who the **** are you? hehehehe .... Turns out ... we did that gig together and carried on doing gigs together for a year after that. Today, 25 years on, weve been through thick and thin. Weve laughed together, cried together, been kicked out of pubs together hehehehe .... Some things may have changed but others havent ... Im still sober!!!! hehehehe .... but .... the sober little tart from Armoury Square (thats what he calls me) and the drunken skunk Pluto look-a-like are still the BEST of friends, still singers and most important .... we are like family. Yesterday, a day early and here in Spain, we celebrated our 25 years of journeying together through life. The only person missing was Auntie Reetz ...
