Clashes in Aqsa: Jerusalem- clashes broke-out early on Wednesday between Palestinian worshippers and Israeli security officers leaving dozens injured after worshippers were forcefully removed. Israeli security threw stun grenades and rubber bullets. Palestinian worshippers responded with stones. Earlier in the week worshippers under the age of 60 have been refused entry and old people who attend the compound have to give their identity cards to Israeli security officials before entering the mosque. Palestinians have reacted with anger after the Israeli army radio announced the ministry of tourism was working on a plan to allow Jews to enter through the Cotton Merchants Gate in addition to the Moroccan Gate although the legal counsel of Jerusalem didnt recieve any notice of such a plan. The Importance of Donating & supporting the liberation of Masjid Al-Aqsa: Abdullah Ibn Umar (ra) relates, I asked the Prophet (saw), Apostle of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about (visiting) Bayt Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). The Apostle of Allah (saw) said, Go and pray there. If you cannot visit it and pray there, then send some oil to be used in the lamps. (Bukhari)
