26 After doing the dishes I went straight to my room, it was already time for mom and Esihle to come back so I just wanted them to find me sleeping. I might have fallen asleep while busy pretending to be sleeping. I rubbed my eyes then looked for my phone but only to find the after pills boxes next to my phone on the side bed. OMG! Mama might have seen them on the dustbin, I should have threw them away not on the dustbin. Kushushu ke sana, Im up for a lecture. I tried sleeping again but heard a knock on the door, it was more of a police knock. The door opened and I closed my eyes. Voice : *shouting* Wake up you sleepy heard. Oh God! Me : *yawn* Hey. I sat up straight, it was my friends but Samu ebengekho. Presh : How are you feeling? Me : Who said Im sick? Sethu : Duh! Your mom. Me : *laughs* Oh. I didnt tell them that I was sick but told them that I had personal things to take care of. Sethu : What are these? (Pointing the boxes) Me : *laughs* Theyre written nje Presh : Someone got some on the weekend. Sethu : *laughs* Me : *smiles* Stop laughing, where are my notes? Presh : Here. Me : But guys how did you take notes cos we dont go to the same class. Sethu : *drooling* We asked that hunk Luz to take them. Me : *smiles* Oh hes such a darling. Sethu : Yep, we gotta bounce nhe, theres a homework on the last page. Me : *smiles* Thanks babies. Presh : Ciao. They went out, I got off my bed and went to my study table to copy down the notes and write the homework. Mama got in and I just continued writing, I wanted her to get out but she was standing on the door. Me : Staring is rude. Mom : We need to talk. Me : Im still busy mama. Mom : I wont take long. Yhu hay this woman doesnt give up, I invited her in and we sat on the bed. Mom : I saw the boxes. My heart skipped a beat. I started playing with my fingers. Me : *looks down* Mom : You promised to take care of yourself. Me : Im sorry ma. Mom : *holds my hand* I want whats best for you baby, please dont disappoint me again. Me : I wont mom. Mom : Look nana, I told you to use contraceptives. Youll one day forget to take those things (after pill) Me : *embarrassed* Kodwa mama I hate those things mna. Mom : Baby atleast use protection then. Me : Yes mom. Mom : This conversation is not over, I have things to do now. She got up and left me thinking, she was right hey. Just one unlucky day, Ill forget to take the pills. Ill always have to use protection. I hate using the contraceptives, I heard people saying that they rearrange your body and I dont want that. I wanted something to make me forget about the conversation we just had nomama and continuing writing was the only thing to do. I copied the notes down and wrote the homework. I still havent got a message or call from Bandile explaining his behavior, if he realise that he was wrong hell call and tell me what was bothering him. But if he keeps quiet that means he thinks he did nothing wrong, andizumbuza mna. After writing homework I went to take a bath, I heard my phone ringing from my room but I just let it ring, I told myself that Ill call that person when Im done. I chilled kwi bath tub for ±1 hour, I drained the water, cleaned the tub then went back to my room. The first thing I attended was my phone, I checked the missed call and it was an unsaved number. I was kind(a) disappointed cos bendicingba ngu Bandile. I lotioned my body then wore clean pyjamas. I called the number back to check ukba ngubani. Me : Hey ndithetha nobani? Voice : *laughs* Hey nunuz The only person who calls me like that is Luz. Me : *smiles* Hey Luz. Luz : How you? Me : Im fine thanks you? Luz : Im fine too, school was boring without you. Me : *smiles* Ah sudlala ngam Luzuko. Luz : Im serious Nunuz Me : Ill be at school tomorrow. Luz : Ill be happ- Your call has been terminated, please load airtime Arg did this airtime really had to end na. I threw my phone on the bed. I didnt even get the chance to thank Luzuko for taking notes for me. Esihle called me for supper, I took my phone then went to the lounge. Lonwabo, mama and Siya were there while Esihle was in the kitchen. We watched tv in silence, Lonwabo has been distance from me andaz kutheni na but hay maybe school is making him turn against me. Mama on the other side was busy looking at me, I would look at my phone everytime I catch her looking at me. Esihle called us in the dining area, we ate again in silence, it was only Siya mumbling, after eating I cleared the table then Lonwabo helped me do the dishes. #Bandile_Ka_Aneh
