If so, this is the place for you! We are a leading provider of payroll & human resources services, and we are currently looking for a Payroll Associate to join our team in our Sacramento office. Our Payroll Associate will provide a range of services, focusing on payroll and benefits processes and data entry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manages a high volume of phone and email inquiries. Calculates payrolls using our payroll software. Processes garnishments and time sheets. Compiles payroll statistics. Maintains payroll control records. Processes and audits weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for clients businesses of varying sizes with diverse needs. Processes and audits payrolls with emphasis on accuracy in a fast paces, production environment. Provides direct support to clients and client employees including issue resolution and fulfillment of general service requests. Provides primary client training and support to web-based HRIS portal. Support methods included (but not limited to) live phone support, live remote sessions (utilizing tools such as WebEx), live and pre-recorded Webinars, and development of training materials. We seek the following qualifications: 2-3 years or more of payroll administration experience. Strong background in customer service. CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or call center experience preferred. Understanding of payroll and wage & hour laws. Comprehensive garnishment processing knowledge. Well-versed in time accrual methods and calculations. Strong computer skills -- MS Office Suite experience a must. Ability to maintain excellent accuracy for high volume 10-key data entry. In-depth knowledge of Human Resources, Benefits and Workers Compensation fields. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple activities while meeting deadlines. Computer help desk experience a plus.
