2745th SEA CADETS CELEBRATE THEIR HARD WORK AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT AWARDS CEREMONY On September 22, 2013 the 2745th SeaBee Battalion held its fall awards ceremony where they celebrated receiving the Unit Commendation of the Year for the Region for the second consecutive year. Other recognitions: 14 cadets were promoted, 4 cadets recognized for National Awards, and medals from the Navy League, Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution and the Veterans of Foreign Wars were also conferred upon the cadets. 24 cadets were recognized for attending advanced trainings, 23 for achievements in marksmanship, 5 for Color Guard, 3 for Recruiting, and 2 for Outstanding Physical Fitness. In attendance were 37 cadets, 3 staff officers, 5 instructors and 58 guests. Having worked very hard, the cadets were very deserving of the awards and the parents, friends, officers, instructors, and Navy League are very proud of them.
