28 Papanui / Lyttelton & Rapaki - From Tuesday 4th June all buses will detour away from Colombo St due to waste water pipe renewals. Buses travelling towards Papanui will detour off Colombo St onto Bealey Ave, Sherborne St and Purchas St back onto Colombo St. Bus stops 19428 (outside 937 Colombo St) and 19376 (outside 957 Colombo St ) will be closed and passengers can use the temporary stops outside 969 Colombo St or 11 Sherborne St instead. Buses travelling towards the city and Lyttelton will detour off Colombo St onto Purchas St, Sherborne St and Bealey Ave back onto Colombo St to continue the normal route. Bus stop 40616 (outside 328 Colombo St ) will be closed and passengers can use the temporary stop outside 10 Sherborne St instead.
