28-year-old drowns in Foisager Lake. AJMER: A 28-year-old old youth drowned in the Foisager Lake while bathing on Friday. He was accompanied by two friends but they failed to save him. The deceased was the only earning member of his family. According to the police, Sajid, son of one Jamal Khan and a resident of the Lohakhan area, was a daily wage worker. On Friday, Sajid was returning from work with his two friends Mukesh and Shahrukh. The trio felt stuffy and decided to take a bath in the Foisager Lake. While swimming, Sajid reached the centre of the lake and realized he was drowning. He shouted for help. As per the police, he had drowned before his friends could him. His body was recovered from the lake and sent for post-mortem. Sajid left behind a year-and-a-half-old son, wife and an aged father.TOI
