28 years ago today, Marianne and I were married. We met at church in Bell Gardens when she was in the 8th grade and I was in the 9th. We quickly became good friends, and as time passed, I realized that I was in love with her. I loved her her for her inner and outer beauty - for her kindness, for her faith, for her generosity, for her loyalty, for her optimism, for her compassion. I loved her because she was a person who was full of love. All of those things are still just as true today as they were in 1986, and there has not been a second during these 28 years in which Ive regretted the commitment I made on that day; it was the greatest day of my life. I cant imagine life without my my wonderful, my beautiful wife.
