2Cor 1:20 For, all the promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen to the glory of God through us When a sinner meets a Holy God -what he hears is----- Yes! When he ask God Do you love me---Yes? Will you forgive me?---Yes Will you accept me? ---Yes Will you help me change---Yes Will you give me power to serve you ---Yes! Will you keep me?-----Yes, All the promises of God—all the blessings of God are YES in Christ Jesus. The Prince of Preachers once said of this verse: “Our thanks are due to God for all temporal blessings; they are more than we deserve. But our thanks ought to go to God in thunders of hallelujahs for spiritual blessings. A new heart is better than a new coat. To feed on Christ is better than to have the best earthly food. To be an heir of God is better than being the heir of the greatest nobleman. To have God for our portion is blessed, infinitely more blessed than to own broad acres of land. God hath blessed us with spiritual blessings. These are the rarest, the richest, the most enduring of all blessings; they are priceless in value.” The promises of God are not “yes” then “no” The promises of God are not---- “I don’t know” or “Maybe so” The promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen to the glory of God through us--are you glad about it?
