2ND FACULTY OF EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE The 2nd Faculty of Education International Conference will hold from October 19 to 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Faculty Education Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka. The Keynote Address will be delivered by Professor Georgianna Duarte of the University of Texas, Brownville, USA while the Lead Paper Presenters are: Professor Yemisi O. Obilade (Vice Chancellor, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu - Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria). Professor Joel Babalola (Former Dean of Education, University of Ibadan, Nigeria). Professor V.B. Owhotu (Education Consultant, Banjul, Gambia). The Chief Host of the occasion is the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Rahamon A. Bello, FAEng and the Host is the Dean, Faculty of Education, Professor Mopelola Omoegun. Submission of Papers: Papers are invited as contributions to the theme and sub-themes as well as for presentation at the conference. The full paper (not more than 15 pages of A4 sized paper) should be typed in double spacing with current APA format. Those interested in presenting papers should submit 30 copies of the paper and electronic copy at the registration desk. Abstract(s) of not more than 200 words should be sent on or before August 20, 2014 to the Secretary, Local Organising Committee. Well– researched peer reviewed papers will be published in Lagos Education Review (Official Journal of the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria ) and a book of readings after the conference. Registration: Conference Fee: $250 (or Naira equivalent); Students: $ 75(or Naira equivalent); and Exhibitions: $ 500 (or Naira equivalent). Accommodation: Decent hotels and guest houses within the environs of the University have moderate tariffs ($40 - $150).
