2Samuel7:1-17 “…And Nathan said to the king, GO, DO that is thine heart; for The Lord is with thee. And it to pass that night, that the Word of The Lord came to Nathan, saying, GO and Tell my servant David … , I will set up thy seed after thee, … . He shall build a house for my name, … . According to all these Word, according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.” 1 Kings 22: 5 “… INQUIRE, I pray thee, at the Word of The Lord to day.” Theme: Prophet Nathan one of the cause of King David’s miscarriage. Considering that life begins with conception, King David was pregnant as he thought to build a house for the name of his Creator. The God we serve is The God of Principles. It is impossible for His Prerequisite to be shaken. In time of trouble, we QUICK run to The Lord to Ask His Mind, but when things are going for our good or in time of peace we find unnecessary to Inquire Him before doing whatever cross our thought. We rush by taking our mind for God’s mind. David recentely in Ziklag you knew how alpha it is to call for me before engaging your project. Now that you are in authority you suddently find it cardinal no more. You and my servant Prophet Nathan have teamed and neglected, ignored this prerequisite that can’t be shaken by any high bless condition. Reading deeply the line of this text, The good loving caring God intend not to stop king David’s plan execution or confuse His servant. Prophet Nathan was suppose to say to the king “thus say the Lord.” We expected from the man of God when the King manifested his intention to him, to say to the king: “let me surrender this to God and then I would come back to you my King.” The Lord could have honoured their heart, if in the first place they did pay Him reverence. Their project was worthy, their ambition was good, but their modus operandus betrayed them. Prophet Nathan and King prophet and priest David forgot that he became not The man after God’s own heart since the very day he sat on the throne. (Acts13:22). In fact, the late prophet Samuel anointed him when he was still behind the sheep because he was already the man after God’s own heart. If was not that king saul could have killed him. Just because you are the man after God’s heart, give you not His Mind. Before you GO or DO anything please INQUIRE Him in order to avoid any miscarriage along the process of the birth of your plan. SEEK His face, INQUIRE Him in ALL SEASON how matter talented, gifted, blood washed sanctify you are, whether king or president, whether archibishop, celebricity Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher in news paper, twitter, facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, Newsletter, Google Plus, and screen television, or unknown man of God, whether believer with and without position in the church. Holy Spirit help us to always trust in God. How matter great we became, how matter enough resources (financial, material, intellectual, human, scientific) in our disposal, remind us always before we start any realisation of any enterprise, to pay first total reverence to The One who give us the privilege to exist and live. Amen.
