2am.... Finishing a load of laundry in the guest laundry off the lobby of the hotel. The hotel is full of wrestling teams from Michigan and Utah. As I am waiting for the elevator, a group of drunk MI supporters come in. I hold the door open (like an idiot) and they are loud .. obnoxious... rude. One guy keeps putting his hand above my head pointing to something on the wall above me (nothing there,just being an ass). I prefer a Texas gentleman over a Yankee scoundrel any day... Jerk. Now an update on my mom. She was moved out of ICU today and placed in another unit. If all goes well, she will be able to go to the Jim Thorp Center for physical therapy. From there, depends on how well therapy goes. Thank goodness her stroke was caught within minutes and she has some damage but only slight. Her broken leg is better. She had some movement with her right hand and foot (broken side which was affected by the stroke too). At 85, she has done well to live by herself independently. Especially with macular degeneration.
