2nd Follow up Workshop for JICA Training on Disaster Prevention of Buildings (against Earthquake, Tsunami, Fire, etc.) 16 participants from 11 countries participated JICA Training on “Disaster Prevention of Buildings”, which was held from June to August, 2014. After completion of the program, JICA received final Action Plans from the participants and found topics of Action Plan from several participants are common relating to evaluation of existing buildings and their improvement. Under this situation, in order to support each participant and his/her organization to go forward with the Action Plan, JICA Tokyo organized 1st follow-up workshop on video conference system connecting Bangladesh, India, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and Tokyo on December 17, 2014. As 2nd follow-up workshop on video conference system, JICA Tokyo organized workshop on “shaking table experiments” connecting Algeria, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Tokyo on January 14, 2015.
