2nd Video Clip. 11/28/2014 12:56PM 800 Block of Avery Ridge Road, Blue Eye Missouri. Crews were dispatched to the report of a large brush fire. Commanding Officer T. Pollard struck a 2nd alarm while enroute due to the amount of smoke visible from miles away. It took crews over two hours to contain 50% of the fire. The winds gusted around 30mph at time fueling the fire. Mutual aid from Oak Grove Fire and Green Forrest Fire Departments both from Arkansas assisted along with our auxiliary that provided refreshments. The perimeter of the fire was 100% contained just after 6:00PM crews were on the scene for just over five hours. Its estimate that 350 acres burned. There were no injuries or property damage. Its suspected that the fire originated near the shoreline of Table Rock Lake. We are not sure if this was intentional or accidental. The fire burned uphill and was stopped at the power line cut out. Smoke may continue for days as many dead trees will continue to smolder in the areas burned. ### Eric Nielsen, PIO SSCFPD
