2nd day down at the Pan Am. I get free breakfast and lunch everyday. YAHOO! Yesterday was grill cheese and today tostadas. I enjoyed it. I get all the food groups and it was pretty good. I think my student schedules are finally complete. My 3-6 classroom looks much better. Although it is not purple like my classroom at the DOES, its pretty papered up in all kinds of cool colors and posters. I do feel the need to compare it slightly to the old DUNGEON of CHS. No windows and only 2 outlets. I do have the entire room. So those that know what the Dungeon looked like prior to the stupid partition going up and blocking the outlets I had, will understand what I am talking about. But I dont need 5 keys to get to my classroom (as i did for the dungeon). I still have to put all my books up onto my shelves but you can see the floor and move around the desks and tables. I still need to complete one of my Language Arts center walls. I was even good, I made more room for MATH. MY Science and Technology center is coming along. My corner office area still needs to be decorated but I finally cleared off my desk of stuff that needed to get put away. My K-2 classroom needs a major clorox clean (its laminate flooring and hasnt been cleaned in who knows how long). My reading centers are almost finished with decor (fluffy rugs, fluffy chairs and bean bags). It has a lots of windows and light and a sink (which needs major cleaning). The students at the PAN Am are very nice and polite. Very respectful. Quiet and overall good moods. We had a nice Open Houses . Everyone is real nice. Im excited for the year.
