3 players to watch for at Aston Villa game . Liverpool will travel to Villa Park in a Premier League match encounter this Saturday 24 August 2013 , Paul Lambert the Vila’s manager has found favor in using 3-5-2 system since he took over . It had produced a bag of mixed results for the Villians. When employing such a system his defense had been exposed many times again . with three at the back it is not surprising that last season they let in a total of 69 goals last season that almost saw them relegated. This season Aston Villa got off to a fine start beating the Gunners at the Emirates by 3-1 . The scorers for this match is Christian Benteke ( 2 goals ) and Antonio Luna . Aston Villa next game is a trip to Stamford Bridge which is on 21 August 2013 which is just a few days before the Liverpool game . So by the time Liverpool FC visits Villa Park , Aston Villa would have played one extra game than Liverpool FC. With that in mind it would swing towards Liverpool’s favor’s. Definitely all eyes will be on Benteke . Just like what Suarez is for Liverpool , Benteke is to Villa . He became the top scorer for Aston Villa. He nets an amazing 21 goals in 35 appearances last season. This season he already netted 2 goals . Benteke has a natural eye for goal . Strong in the air and physically challenging. Kolo and Agger should not let him have any chance to shoot on sight. .So it would be wise if Liverpool FC pay close attention to him. One way to stop him is to cut the supply to him . Gabby Agbonlahor and Andi Weimann are both the main players that supply the crosses to him . Agbonlahor is comfortable on the left . Whereas Weimann is at home on the right . Weimann had also formed a good relationship with Lowton . Weimann can also score goals when given the opportunity . He scored a total of 12 goals last season. Both these two players have the ability to move to wide spaces and are versatile .Hence both of Liverpool fullbacks of Johnson and Enrique will need to be their best and making sure that these two Villian players do not get pass them. Gerrard and Lucas will need to provide adequate cover for the defense and as well as to counter any threat coming through the middle . Whoever controls the midfield will undoubtedly control the match. Aston Villa’s strength undoubtedly is their attack . Since the arrival of Benteke their attack had gone from strength to strength . However their defense is still weak. Having to play an extra game before Liverpool’s visit will definitely tax the home team players more. They will be tired from their trip to Stamford Bridge. Also taken into consideration the outcome of Chelsea Vs Aston Villa . The corresponding fixture last season when Liverpool visit Villa Park was 1-2 in Liverpool’s favor . For this match I am predicting a Liverpool win with at least a two goal margin.
