3 years ago, we adviced Triobla and Adinda, that we can tackle the Sister of St Catherine´s only if the adoptee is in the worst case ready to go to court. After i made it crystal clear, that if i send Anjali to St. Catherine´s to fight for the adoptee´s right, we need at the time be prepared to defend possible retiliation from the SIster and would need to follow it up with a court case. Well- that was the email which i afterwards received from the Adoptioncoach. Now we are years later. How much was money was now spent? Did any belgium Adoptee found back his / her parents now? For me it is incomprehensible that adoptee´s still hang on the lips of Pia and aren´t ready to fight. But i guess that´s part of what adoption does do to adoptee´s. TRIOBLA [email protected] 10/21/11 to Arun, anjali, info, Adinda To Arun, Anjali, Roelie Hereby I let you know that I, as a professional adoption worker- adoption coach, stop all collaboration with ACT. I am still to much in chock after reading the mail from Arun to Adinda and the way of dealing with Adinda, to react properly and professional. So I will be brief and as professional possible. The words Adinda wrote to you ( see below) are so wright and express perfectly what I want to say about most of the collaboration since the return of Beena from India . Also in her file things happened that are not ethically correct. I just name one: that she didn’t had the ‘approval’ to just skype to the one person – Angali- she needed so much- and that she only could ‘pass to Anjali’ by going to Brussels, speaking to Arun, who then would give his ‘consent’ to skype with Anjali.. that is not the way I see roots searches, and that is an understatement. Now , after all these months letting Adinda wait (which she did) , saying that she: - Has to pay you 5000€ ( as a start) - Has no right to decide weather or not to go to court - And pressuring her in a matter – looking for your birthparents – that is so vulnerable, is in no way justifiable When Arun, Angali , the lawyer and his wife were here earlier this year, I pointed out very clear (even showed a power point to be as clear as possible) that our cooperation with act could ONLY go on IF the social work was prior and in no way linked to the ’political’ work of act . Only, just only, if the adoptee decided for themselves to go to court, then it would be justifiable. So, now the opposite is happening and I am angry, disappointed and know that the only correct thing to do is end all collaboration between me as an adoptioncoach of TRIOBLA and ACT. I send this mail to our adoptees of geadopteerd.be and they will decide for themselves if or not they still want to refer adoptees to you. I will let all adoptees ,that asked me to help them in their search , know why I don’t work together anymore and so it is up to them to decide if they still want to contact ACT. It is unfortunate, but the only professional decision I could take. Being professional and correct is also being honest about .
