30 Day Dapper Challenge, day 18: plaid shirt, vintage cotton and silk blend Wembley tie, vintage wool waistcoat with beautiful flecks of orange and yellow, and white knit sweater. Look at dem patterns and textures, Neal! Funny story: at work today a rep for an office supply company who looked to be in his late 20s or early 30s stopped in. After we finished talking he enthusiastically complimented my outfit (I was pretty pleased with it). He looked pretty good too, in a bland corporate kind of way, wearing a grey shirt, silver and black tie, and black jacket. After he told me how much he loved my outfit he asked if I came up with the combo by myself. Um, yes? I dont know if he thought a boyfriend put it together for me, in which case Im mildly miffed, or if he thought I have a stylist in which case I dont know whether to be flattered or mildly miffed ;-). Anyway, before leaving he told me, now I have to go back to the drawing board with my wardrobe.
