30 Day TV Show Challenge - Day 6. Favourite episode of your favourite TV show (Part 1). Since I chose two favourites, I have two favourite episodes to pick. Starting with The X-Files, my favourite is the first episode I ever saw. I knew about the series - saw trailers before it came out, but somehow still managed to miss the first couple of episodes. Since I thought it had a continuing story (rather than being monster of the week as season one was), I decided not to watch it since I had missed the start. Until a couple of weeks later when Stuart Furlong pointed out my error. So the first one I watched was the 7th episode. Which as it turns out was an homage to my favourite horror film (John Carpenters The Thing). BOOM. Instantly fell in love with The X Files.
