30 Days of Thankful: Day 17: Consider the following quote: “Ive enjoyed every age Ive been, and each has had its own individual merit. Every laugh line, every scar, is a badge I wear to show Ive been present, the inner rings of my personal tree trunk that I display proudly for all to see. I read this and immediately began thinking about my life experiences. My conclusion? I thank The Lord for the inner rings of my personal tree trunk...even the ones that left bruises and scars! In James 1:2-4 we read When all kinds of trials and temptations crowd into your lives, dont resent them as intruders, but welcome them as friends! Realize that they come to test your faith and to produce in you the quality of endurance. Thank you, Lord! Lets also consider Rom 5:3-5! We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us. Again I say thank you, Lord!
