30+ FRAMED PICTURE COLLECTION OF EWAN MCGREGOR’S & CHARLEY BOORMAN’S ‘LONG WAY DOWN ODYSSEY’ TO BE OFFERED AT BONHAMS LAS VEGAS MOTORCYCLE AUCTION 12 December 2014 – At what is being called the most anticipated motorcycle auction of the year, Bonhams has announced that part of its motoring ephemera collection will include a large photographic exhibit of actors Ewan McGregor’s and Charley Boorman’s Long Way Down motorcycle journey. The 32-piece, professionally matted and framed collection of pictures originally provided by Big Earth Productions, producers of Long Way Down and Long Way Round, captures scenes of the duo’s nearly three-month, 9,000 mile odyssey taken in 2007, most of which was through Africa. Estimated at $5,000-$7,000 (£3,200-4,500), profits from the sale will go to UNICEF. Click here for more information on this collection.
