30 THANKSGIVING (13, November 2013) DAY 13: Today, let us thank God for all the answered prayers, this year. Psalms 118: 21 CEB “I thank You, because You answered me, because you were my saving help” REFLECTION The Lord, our God is the Lord that hears, and answers prayers. His eyes are opened upon us, and His ears are attentive to our prayers. If you are someone, who keeps record of your requests, it will amaze you, what the Lord has done, in response to your prayers this year. Some requests were made at the beginning of the year, without result, or response, and we thought that God has forgotten, while we put our mind off them; the Lord showed up at the time, when we least expected, to let us know, we may have forgotten, but He keeps record of our requests. The angel that visited Cornelius delivered God’s message to him, by saying, “Your prayers and your alms, have come up for a memorial before God.” We may get a ‘hold on’ message from God, but He never fails to return our calls. He has not finished, there are answers and responses to prayers that will not be carried over into the next year, God never owes. Let us thank Him, for He has done exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we requested, and thought about this year. PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING: Father, we thank You, for all answered prayers this year. We are very grateful, and appreciate Your faithfulness, in attending to all our requests, in Jesus’ name. BIBLE READING: Psalms 31-32 Proverbs 16
