30 years ago today I met the most incredible woman. I was immediately smitten by her charming way. This was a lady. It wasnt long before I was tickled that she obviously saw something in me too. Now, after all this time, I can honestly say that we obviously were meant for each other. Weve had our ups and downs, just like every other couple, but working through them is half the fun of being together. Tonight, when I got home from work she had made dinner. An almost carbon copy of our first date, a picnic of cheeses and fruits and crackers; she even remembered the brand of soda I liked back then. It wasnt the Big Sur coastline where our first picnic was, but in a whole lot of ways it was much better.
