31/01/2014 DAILY SPRING: TOPIC: KNOW YOUR STATUS IN CHRIST JESUS TEXT:Mar 11:23 For verily I say to you, that whoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that the things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatever he saith. Understanding your status in Christ Jesus is a function of your conduct, perspective, thinking, judgment and the quality of your life. The Lord Jesus Christ told every believer the importance of “faith factor” as regards our status in Him. Hence, the destiny of any believer that lacks full understanding of what he or she represents in Christ Jesus and in anointing, is subject to abuse. The scripture we are considering today, gives us an insight of the capacity of discretion we need to exercise; when it comes to certain issues of life. The Lord Jesus Christ says, we should speak to every mountain preventing us from moving forward, upward and god-ward as occasion demands. Beloved, our status as we become children of God by Christ Jesus is sonship. Therefore, we need not to beg issues but to take drastic actions against those things that want to rubbish the grace of God upon our lives. Arise at this moment and speak to that mountain of debt, rejection, sickness, poverty, lack, inadequacies, struggling, toiling, languishing, depression, disappointment, setback e.t.c that have been threatening your life and all that pertains to you. Never doubt your status! Walk, think and act in that conscious; you will be amazed to see how God honour those who act in faith. PRAYER: Psa 119:116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Psa 119:117 Support me, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to thy statutes continually.
