31 days till PCS: yesterday I said I would post something everyday that I have learned while living on the mainland. Since this day is almost officially over for me here, I am obviously getting a late start to day 1. So on that note I would like to start with punctuality. I have learned that if you say your party/event is at 1200. People will start showing up at 1145?! Or vice versa. There is no such thing as island time around here. They actually start their events on time. Now if you know me you know that this was one of my biggest adjustments. I have improved greatly at being punctual, however, I am still usually the last one to the party. Funny thing is when I get back home if I show up an hour after the start time I will probably be the first one there. And end up helping them set up and finish cooking. Lol :/
