31 years ago I gave birth to a baby girl. Her father, Douglas and I named her Candace Ariel Robinson. Candace was the prettiest baby I had ever seen. Even though I was a young mother that did not stop me from taking care of and loving my baby unconditional. I didnt want anyone to touch her because I thought she was too pretty. As Candace grew up she gave me hell because I wouldnt let her out my sight. Let Candace tell it the only thing she got to do was play in the backyard with the dog and wave at the kids from the gate. But it was all worth it Candace grew up to become a beautiful young lady, a wonderful mother and a Registered Nurse. Getting her to do the career that I wanted for her was pretty hard. She said she wanted to become a stripper but because I fed her so, much I made her fat. So, I put my foot down, I said you can be a Doctor, a Lawyer, an Astronaut, the President of United States or a Registered Nurse, pick one. So she looked in the book at Wayne County Community College District and picked the one that had the least amount of credits, so she thought, and went for it.
