311ed the 7ft weeds growing on the side of 2719 Sheridan on Sunday, and had a crew removing what they called the freaking Amazon jungle by today, so thank you to the City of MPLS. I talked to the work crew; they said much of the overgrowth was itch weed, so they were not at all thrilled by the experience. Heres the vent: the maintenance guy has offered to maintain the landlords properties, but the owner refuses, saying the tenants should just do it. He added the owner was annoyed by the City being all over his ass for his lack of property management. If you, as a landlord, cant come up with a better property management plan than expecting your 90 year old bed-rest renter, or a mother of 3 feral kids and one infant with no car, to take care of a 45 degree angle sloped yard, you shouldnt have a rental license!!
