3275 #male Stop before u get addicted. I am a mute spectator of this forum. Just thought of sharing something. Mine is nclear family with me, my parents and my brother. And we both are very lucky indeed to have got them as parents. God has been kind to us. My brother and I are like Tom and Jerry and we love each other. Infact, ours is like a family you see in the movies. My mother and father had a love marriage. My mom is from a richer family than dad. My dad spoke to my grandpa and won his heart. As per his words, he has worked hard all these years and have given us a decent life. My mother, needless to say, a woman of discipline and has been the backbone for my dad and the family. Though, little educated, she had ample knowledge through books, stocks and shares, world cultures and what not! My dad and mom lived a wonderful life for all these years. But we recently lost our mom to cancer. It was difficult to stomach she had this, but more difficult to see her crying to my dad, dont let me die,please, i dont want to die!. It broke us - financially and emotionally. And we finally found the reason - it was due to her extreme sensitive cells which could not withstand the cigarette smoke. Yes, my father was a chain smoker and she has got it due to secondary smoking! Needless to say, my father now thinks he killed my mom and has resigned his job. Our house, once which was like a small beautiful cage, is no more filled with laughter. Time heals things. But it never can give me back my mother. The days I have spent with her would haunt me till I die. What started as a fun in his college days with friends has increased in the years. It started with one cig, later he felt like it would be better if he has a puff while in stress, later, it continued and now he cannot feel better if he has not had one. He is obsessed and is trying hard to get out of it, but what is the use? Think twice when you have your next cig.
