33 years ago I was working in Worcester at Rod Argents Music store and received a phonecall asking me to a meeting in London with a company interested in hiring me. I visited the company offices in Paddington 3 times for a less than formal interview scenario but an opportunity to meet the staff and clients of Syco Systems, a retail company started by Peter Gabriel to represent the finest quality innovations in music and audio technology then available. The demonstration console displayed a Fairlight CMI, Emu Emulator I, Linndrum, mixing desk with superb AMS and Quantec reverb plus a PPG Wave 2.2 and Waveterm. One regular visitor to Syco was very happy to give me his overview of the PPG and Emulator: Hans Zimmer. My flashback here was induced by this clip featuring some wonderful organ. https://youtube/watch?v=L_8t2VlwK4w#t=256
