34 degrees this morning. At least the wind isnt blowing like yesterday. Anytime you have a drastic change of temps you have to have wind to blow the other air out of the area. We went from very warm and comfortable to cold. So with knowing that you know that you had to have the wind. It is funny, when the wind blows the animals stay hunkered down. The only animals that came to the cat feeding area yesterday and last night was the old stray gray cat. The other wild animals dont like the wind, it messes up their senses of danger. They cant hear something sneaking up on them and moving rustling leaves makes it hard to spot danger. Deer dont like it windy either. Someone once told me that the wind is only good for a few things. Flying kites and drying clothes (I guess we have to add sailing boats in there also).
