34 years without John Lennon.... Who wouldve imagined that hed leave and at the age and moreover, the time that he did. Now, I dont want to be misunderstood - Lennon was a great artist, and certainly a great humanitarian, but it has to be argued that his death has been used to accentuate him to another level... which is understandable, since he was a rare rock/pop icon and his death signalled an unexpected end of an era. However, I think its more important to remember the times he was alive, when he offered his music to the world to enjoy and engage on.
