35 yrs ago today..I packed up my 69 Chevy truck with a foldup cot, a styrofoam cooler, my cowboy hat and braids, and headed to Calgary to work for Eddy Stewart at the racetrack. I remember the scenes and smells of the Stampede packing up and could not wait until the next year to see it. I also never knew at the point, that I would dedicate the next 35 years to working with such a wonderful breed as a Standardbred. Thanks to all of my friends, human and equine, who have fulfilled those great times! Cheers to all of you!
