36 PEOPLE(probably non-Muslims) were shot dead early Tuesday in Koromey, about 15 minutes drive from Mandera town. Victims were killed while sleeping in tents at a quarry in the 1am attack. The attack comes 10 days after Al-Shabaab terrorists hijacked a Nairobi-bound bus and executed 28 people in a chilling dawn attack at Arabiya in Mandera near the Kenya-Somali border. What exactly is wrong in Mandera County? Is it the intelligence/police/army sleeping on the job? Is it the locals/politicians who are accommodating terrorists? Why cant the govt consult Israel or USA and request for help?
